GANESH SINGH
I’m Ganesh Singh, a VFX layout supervisor and camera matchmove lead with over a decade of experience across feature films and series at DNEG, MPC, Redefine, Prime Focus and Technicolor’s Trace VFX.
My credits include 1917, First Man, Bohemian Rhapsody, Altered Carbon, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Blade Runner 2049.
Sharing knowledge is central to my work. I have mentored students at Picasso College in digital sculpting and asset modelling, and trained artists and leads in production workflows. At Technicolor’s Trace VFX, I trained 70 artists in the transition from body tracking to camera tracking. I also developed layout training at Redefine and created practical tracking resources for teams.
My technical practice centres on Maya, 3DEqualizer and a strong understanding of camera motion. I also enjoy organic modelling and sculpting in ZBrush, 3ds Max and Blender.
Beyond VFX, I explore photography, stock footage and ideas for short films and documentaries. As an ADA ambassador, I also create nature aquariums inspired by Takashi Amano’s approach to aquascaping.
